About Brittany
Passionate About Helping Children Communicate
Brittany Furnari is a licensed speech-language pathologist with specialized expertise in treating children with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), motor speech disorders, and co-occurring hearing loss. She founded Front Range Speech to bring this level of specialized care to families in Greeley and Northern Colorado.
With over five years of focused experience treating children with CAS and aided hearing loss — including cochlear implants, BAHAs, and hearing aids — Brittany brings a rare combination of expertise that few clinicians possess. She uses an integrated, multisensory approach incorporating verbal, visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic cues to help children develop clear, functional speech.
Brittany is Level I PROMPT certified and has extensive training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Rapid Syllable Transition Treatment (ReST), the Kaufman Speech Praxis Approach, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. She applies the principles of motor learning to determine optimal therapy frequency and practice structure for each child.
She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Special Interest Group 9 (Hearing and Hearing Disorders in Childhood), is listed in the Apraxia Kids Professional SLP Directory, and has been a dedicated volunteer for the Apraxia Kids organization since 2012.
Brittany believes that caregivers are the greatest allies in a child's communication journey. She uses parent coaching sessions, family-friendly carryover activities, and open communication to ensure progress extends beyond the therapy room and into everyday life.
